We took a trip to the zoo yesterday. The weather was awesome. You couln't ask for a better day. I only wish we had gotten there earlier, because we missed seeing this guy, Sampson . Elephants are very special around our house- Helen has quite the love affair. As a result, I know more about elephants than anyone needs to. It is great that the zoo in Baltimore has a baby elephant. A couple of years ago, Baltimore lost its elephants. They were loaned out to save money. When the public found out, they tried to "save" the elephants. But a turn of events got us a new pregnant elephant, and the baby was born March 19 (the day after Zachary's birthday and on my brother's). They got to feed a giraffe and added goat poop to our growing collection of poop pictures ( are we a gross family or what?) Enjoy some pictures, poop not included.....
